What is a 3D areola / nipple tattoo?

Nipple tattooing, also called areola tattooing, is a non-surgical technique where I use a tattoo machine and specialized training in artistic realism to replicate the color and 3D appearance of one or both nipples with custom skin tone pigments, contrast, and specialized intradermal pigmentation (AKA tattooing!).

It is a safer, less invasive method of restoring a natural nipple appearance, bodily confidence, and emotional wellbeing. Many folks who have chosen to have 3D areola tattoos have been pleased with the cosmetic results, shorter healing time, and painless application.

Who can receive 3D areola tattoos?

This service is an ideal option for anyone who has undergone a mastectomy (unilateral or bilateral, including DIEP/latissimus flap, or implant reconstruction, with or without nipple reconstruction), subcutaneous mastectomy (top surgery), gynecomastia surgery, or anyone whose areolas may have any irregularity, discoloration, or inconsistency after reconstruction.

I offer the full spectrum of color work for all skin tones, from very light to very dark. My training includes intimate knowledge of post-surgery skin safety and how to work with radiated skin.
