My name is Kayla and I make tattoos. I've been an artist for 18 years. I am an illustrator, painter, printmaker, teacher, friend, and cryptid guardian. I've been a tattoo artist for 2 years, and a tender heart for 33. I have 6 chickens, 2 ducks, a cat, a dog, and a lovely partner named Nate. I climb mountains, run a figure drawing club in Denver, work at a farm in Boulder, and engage in all parts of life that can bring joy, growth, and creativity. I love to tattoo custom work, especially anything illustrative or botanical, but I also just love to tattoo anything at all.
The name Lore for my tattoo business is born from a love of shared knowledge and story. Lore is an archaic term that, in more colloquial and contemporary terms means: a lesson. Our lives are the most beautiful and intricate works of lessons overlapping, and often, tattoos are bodily monuments to these lessons.

If you like to engage in the mythical & mysterious, hearsay, backstory, rumors, dreams, whispers, the surreal, the fantastic, the heretical, the tale, the unwritten, the secret, the forest, the summit, the cave, the moth to flame, or you just really love to have art on your body, then I'm the tattoo artist for you.
